Welcome to The ALS Express
Join us for a day of fun, fitness, and fundraising at the 7th Annual ALS Express. This non-competitive ride is for everyone?whether you?re an experienced cyclist or a beginner. It?s all about coming together for a great cause while enjoying the scenic New Jersey countryside. All proceeds from this event go to supporting research for ALS, commonly known as Lou Gehrig?s Disease. Your participation in the ALS Express will directly contribute to the ongoing fight to find a cure for this devastating disease.
The ALS Express is an event like no other. In addition to the thrill of cycling, you?ll be cheered on by volunteers, bike technicians, police officers, and medical professionals, all of whom ensure that you have a safe and enjoyable ride. No matter which route you choose, you?ll be supported at every step, and you?ll finish the ride with a sense of accomplishment and pride for supporting such a meaningful cause.
Choose Your Route
We offer three scenic route options designed to accommodate different levels of cycling experience. Whether you?re looking for a short and easy ride or a challenging route, we?ve got something for you:
- Short Route - Ideal for families and beginners, this route takes you through beautiful country roads and offers frequent rest stops, ensuring you can enjoy the ride without pressure.
- Intermediate Route - A great option for those looking to add a bit more challenge to their ride. This route features a mix of terrain with some hills, and will push you just enough to feel like you?ve accomplished something significant.
- Long Route - Designed for experienced cyclists, this route covers a longer distance and includes more challenging hills. It?s perfect for those who want to push their limits while supporting ALS research.
All routes feature five rest stops, spaced less than 15 miles apart, and are fully supported by dedicated volunteers, bike technicians, and medical staff. We want you to have the best experience possible while raising money for a great cause!
Our Mission: Raising Funds for ALS Research
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. It leads to the gradual loss of muscle control, making it difficult to perform everyday activities. There is currently no cure for ALS, and it is a fatal disease.
The ALS Express was created to raise awareness about ALS and raise critical funds for research that will help scientists understand the disease and find a cure. By participating in the ALS Express, you are not only enjoying a fun day of cycling, but you are also helping to fund research programs dedicated to improving the lives of people living with ALS and their families.
Funds raised through the ALS Express will support cutting-edge research programs that focus on finding a cure, as well as improving patient care. Your involvement is a vital part of the effort to defeat ALS, and we are grateful for your support.

Sign up today to participate in the 7th Annual ALS Express! We encourage you to register early, as spots are filling up quickly. All riders, along with one guest, will receive free admission to Morey's Piers after completing the ride.
